Mary E. Frantz, 71, of Johnson City went to be in the arms of the Lord Friday, April 8, 2016. Mary was born April 21, 1944 in Bronx, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, Aurora and Edward Bishop; husband, William C. Frantz; daughter, Kathryn Frantz. She is survived by her loving children, daughter and son in law, Annmarie and David Williams, San Antonio, TX; son, William M. Frantz, Christina L. Frantz, Endicott, NY; four beautiful grandchildren which she adored Shane, Olivia, Madison and Jordyn. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Family, Endwell. In December of 1971 with her husband William, her two children Annmarie and William and mother in law, Kathleen Frantz they relocated to the Southern Tier. She loved making people laugh and enjoyed going out with her friends whom which gave her the nickname of “MAXINE”. She spent the last 21 years working for Wal-Mart as a cashier where she made lots of friends both fellow employees and customers. She always gave her special customers a hug as they left.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 9:15 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Church of the Holy Family at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Mary’s memory may be made to Mercy House, 212 North McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
