Mary Jones

Mary Jones, formerly Mary Neil, went home Sunday Morning, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. Mary is survived by her loving husband Raymond Jones, 2 daughters; Christine Hales and Kathy Sullivan, a step-daughter Kelly Ingersoll, 4 grandchildren; Matthew Hales, Lauren Hales, Brooke Sullivan and Parker Sullivan, and 4 step- grandchildren; Ethan, Seth, Isaac and Noah Ingersoll. She also leaves 6 siblings; Patricia Ivancie, Sophie Strong, Jean Fowler, Sally Shea, Steve Fundock and Stanley Fundock and her dear friend, Clare Manley. Mary was loved by all who met her, because her heart was always about putting the needs of others first, and giving what she could, to meet their needs first, ahead of her own. This was how she lived her life. And all who knew her, loved her, because of her giving, merciful, heart. Now, her needs are fully met; no more suffering, no more crying, no more pain, and Scripture says that Jesus will wipe away every tear. And she now has a brand new body that will live forever, and never again, ever experience sickness, or pain, in the presence of God and His Christ. And I have a feeling, that her mansion in heaven is surrounded with the flowers she so loved her on the earth. And I pray you hear these Words from our Lord Jesus: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Amen and Amen.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11am at The First Assembly of God, 225 Washington Street, Binghamton 13901 with Reverend Lance Perry officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Thursday from 2-4 pm and evening 7-9 pm.
