A letter to Maurice, Maurice I am just now learning of your passing. As a young teenage man I had NOBODY to guide me, Nobody to teach me right from wrong, and then I met you. A man who seemed to have it all together. You guided me, and helped me become a man. And for this I will never forget the love you showed me. I respect you more than words can describe. I looked you up to tell you all this, But it seems I was too late. I'm sorry for your families loss. You once told me I was like the son you never had. I just want to tell you that although I was like the son you never had. You were like the Father I never had as well. You were a great friend and I probably wouldn't be on this earth if you hadn't showed me there was other ways. I hope your having a good time in heaven Maurice. I will see you when I get there.
