Maurice F Battisti passes into the arms of his loving father in heaven on Father’s Day, June 16. He joins his beloved parents, Frank and Sylvia Battisti. He joins the boys in the band: his dear friends Pat Curry, Jim Malarkey, Chuck Louden and Gary Brady where they are playing, “When the Saints Come March In.” Maurice was a brilliant, talented man who was not afraid to tackle any challenge. He was an avid sports fan. He lives the NY Yankees, the Knocks and the NY Giants. He was born, raised, and spent his life’s work dedicated to making his community better. Maurice was an entrepreneur working in the areas of hospitality, real estate and semi-professional athletics. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, friends and furry four-legged friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Dianne; his brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Helen; his sister and brother-in-law, Donamari and Ronald Andrews; nephews, F. Paul, Brian and Christopher, and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, both here and in Italy. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10:30 am from St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church, Wednesday from 4-7 pm.
