On Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:10 am the family of Norma DeNovellis, 86, gathered with peace, grace and dignity as she left this earthly world and entered into another world we know as Heaven. In this regard she is joined once again with her husband Louis. She is also predeceased by her parents Millard and Laura Crist; sister Shirley (Hank) Schroeder, brothers in law and sisters in law, Dominick Malarkey, Tony (Shirley) Malarkey, Pete (Marion) DeNovellis, Leo (Delores) DeNovellis, Paul (Mary) DeNovellis, Caroline (Marty) Martone, Marion (Joe) Gioia, Patricia (Sam) DiBello, Antoinette DeNovellis, Mike Malarkey; Luke Malarkey; Josephine (Angelo) Bernardo and her very special friend and companion Raymond Ligouri. Her loving family will hold dear in their hearts those special memories of a life well lived. Her daughter Lorna Cline and husband Joe along with her son Tab take great pride in leading by example those qualities which made mom so very special. Her grandchildren will have countless memories to reflect, as the days turn into years, Michael and Lauren Saleeby, Steven Saleeby, Dr. Kevin Cline and fiancée Oksana Czebiniak; Matthew Cline; Ciera and Angelina DeNovellis; stepsons Louis DeNovellis, Jr. and Richard (Angela) DeNovellis and many close special friends. Mom enjoyed the years spent working at Endicott-Johnson, Broome County Social Services and her beloved St. Anthony of Padua Food Pantry. Her work ethic will continue to live on in the people who’s lives she touched.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Pak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church Food Pantry, 906 Jenkins Street, Endicott, NY 13760 or the Broome County Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, NY 13903.
