Patty was a very special, one-of-a-kind person. She warmly welcomed us into the neighborhood with her outgoing, cheerful personality and her radiant smile. We became very close in the last 15 years. She was always full of life and always took an interest in what was going on in your own life. She was so easy to talk to ~ so caring and genuine. She was the very definition of what a "Friend" should be. Patty always offered help and emotional support throughout the many ups and downs of our lives; it was very difficult to see her struggle during the last year of her own life. We count ourselves lucky to have known her. She will always be one of the best friends and neighbors we will ever have known. We miss her dearly ~ her presence is forever in our hearts, and we will carry her with us until the end of our own days.

Mrs. Leighton was my 6th grade teacher 1992-3. My mom was a room mother that year. Mrs Leighton was really nice to all of us. Definitely a patient teacher with me.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
