Cari R. left a message on February 3, 2024:
How lucky am I to have had the privilege to take care of such a wonderful woman? The answer is, the luckiest. Pat was a lot of things, but the one that sticks out the most is fiesty. I may not have known her in her younger years but I can picture the young woman she was raising her family with her husband, I imagine she never settled, and she never dealt with anyone’s BS. From the laughs she gave us, to her following me around on a daily basis, and being happy to see me when I came back from my days off, I am truly thankful I got to know Pat, Brian and Diane. I cannot thank you guys enough for being a wonderful family to her, she loved you so much. She always talked about you. She’d look forward to visits and talking on the phone, even if it was to yell at her grown up son. I love Pat like she was my own grandmother, so when she left, my heart shattered. She was a special kind of light on my workdays, and it made things easier to look forward to. I’m devastated that my girl is gone, but I’m happy that she is no longer in pain, and is in a better place. Again, a huge thank you to her beautiful family, Diane & Brian, Tim, and Scott. Thank you for allowing the privilege of having GG in her last days.
