Peter Sheypuk, Jr.

Peter Sheypuk Jr., 86 of Binghamton, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Syracuse VA. He was predeceased by his wife Theresa Ann (Belchick) and his brothers Francis and Stanley Horan. He was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Gregorski) Sheypuk. He is survived by his five children: Cheryl and Kim Snyder, of Brackney PA; Peter Sheypuk of Sanitary Springs NY; Deborah and Bob Dipillo of Binghamton NY; Tina Marie and Tim Dunkailo of Brackney PA and Rodney Sheypuk of Binghamton NY. Peter was also survived by his Grandson and Fiancée: Jesse Kilmer and Emily McLaughlin of Oswego NY; Great-Granddaughter Raina Kilmer of Oswego NY; Sisters Angus Kapinus and Dorothy Lee; brothers and sister-in-laws: George and Delores Sheypuk; Paul and Diane Sheypuk; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Peter served in the US army during the Korean War and retired from Singer-Link Flight Simulators in Kirkwood NY. He was a member of the Parish of Saints John & Andrew Church, the Town of Binghamton Volunteer Fire Department, Town of Binghamton Grange, Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club and American Legion for many years. Peter was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending his summers on Sandy Pond NY with his faithful companion a Yellow Labrador named Amber. Our family wishes to thank the staff at the Syracuse VA, Bonnie Bielecki, FNP, Dr. Paolozzi and the staff at the Infusion Center for their care of Peter.
