I have the fondest memories of Ray Hickey. My Dad " Ed Shaughnessy" always talked about the great times they had as kids and young adults. The Hickey and Shaughnessy Families were very close and enjoyed each others company greatly. Dad always talked about the days after WWII when they played in an organized baseball league and Ray "Judge" participated with the Team and what a great time they had. The Team included many relatives and great friends from the Little Meadows area. Ray and my Dad also arranged several trips to Yankee Stadium to watch the Yankees play. As a boy I was able to see Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris play in person. What a thrill that was and I'm am thankful of that time, getting to know Ray and becoming a Yankee Fan. I know Dad and Uncle Paul Shaughnessy enjoyed being able to visit with Ray in the more recent years which truely represented the extent of their close family relationship. I'll miss you Ray and thanks for the great memories. Mike
