Richard I. Weiss, 84, entered into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Sunday, August 25, 2013. The list of memories is long! The joy of being part of many events at the Weiss house have helped form many character traits in my own life. The love and strength of "Uncle Dick and Aunt Annie" are precious reminders that point me toward our Savior. Thinking of him rejoicing in Heaven is so sweet! I can hear him teaching in Sunday School, countless loving warnings, Gideon meetings, and just the thoughts of "The Old Fossil" bring warm fuzzys to my heart. My heart aches for "Aunt Annie" and for their wonderful children, grand children and great grandchildren along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly and yet are happy to know he is home with his Savior. Love and prayers for the Weiss Family!

A life time of memories!! So thankful for many opportunities to be a with the Weiss Family. "Uncle Dick" was such a tease!! He was strict and yet loving. As a little girl, I have such special memories of time with Cindy and know our parents put up with us and our antics!! As I grew and he was our Sunday School teacher, I was thankful for his input and search of the Scriptures. I remember Daily Bread Family Devotions whenever I was at their house and lots of fun!! Ice Cream and pickles! Then as a young wife and mom, I was so thankful for "Uncle Dick and Aunt Annie's" prayers and support as we served the Lord. I can't say how much I appreciate their encouragement to us and their faithfulness to each other and their children. As I went to visit Aunt Annie and Uncle Dick last month, it was precious to see their ongoing love and know he will be greatly missed. However, there is rejoicing as we do not mourn as those who have no hope for we know he is with our Savior worshiping at Jesus' Feet! I love you all and will be praying for you!
