Hello, I worked with Rita in bookkeeping at WENE from 1991 to 1993. She was full of life and lovely to me! She shared her lunch, and invited me into her home ( she was renting an apartment from a family near the office). Funny memory-I do this thing where if my ear itches, I make a a noise in my throat to scratch the itch. Rita was floored because she didn’t think anyone but her daughter did that. Another fun fact, I gave her her 1st audiobook to listen to on her drives to see the family. Her gift to me was a small desk mirror that I use to this day. She was 60-something, I was 30-something. She was joy and kindness.

So sorry to hear about your Mom. I have so many fond memories of Rita and all of your family going back as far as high school. She always made me feel like a part of her wonderful family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family. Love, Neil

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have such great memories of this beautiful woman. Sue and Karen and my sister Marilyn used to go to WENE after school all the time. I spent a lot of time at the French home as a kid. God bless you all and hugs for your family.
