Rosalie (Fauls) Salko, 93, passed away peacefully at her home in Endwell, surrounded by her family, on December 1, 2023. Rosalie was predeceased by her husband, John (Jack), her daughter in law, Laurie Salko, and her 6 siblings. Rosalie is survived by her loving children, Susan (Donald) Tesar, Scott Salko, and Mark Salko (Monica Silas); Her cherished grandchildren, Casey Valky, Kimberly Tesar, Michael (Sarah) Tesar, Emma Salko, Cody Salko, Alexandra (Brian) Klinko, and Rebecca Salko (Brandon Subach); and her adored great- grandchildren, Nicholas, Tyler, and Hailey Valky, Kelsey, Zoey, and Abby Klinko, Norah and Leah Tesar. She is also survived by numerous neices and nephews. Rosalie was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church for many years, and more recently of St. Ambrose in Endicott. She was born in Ithaca, NY and graduated from Ithaca High School. She graduated from Mount Aloysuis College in PA. She retired from a 23-year career at Seton Catholic Central High School. She was very proud of her Irish heritage. She enjoyed traveling and being with family and friends as often as she could. The greatest loves of her life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, with whom she was very close. She treasured sharing in all their lives. A special thank-you to her dear friends Anne, Patti, and Peggy for being such an important part of her life. The family wishes to thank Danielle, Vi, Tammy, and Suzanne for providing her with excellent care.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday December 12 at 10:30 am at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Holy Spirit Cemetery, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at church, Tuesday December 12 from 9:30 am until Mass time at 10:30 am.
