Sophie Kotasek Comfort, 95, of Maine, New York, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Matthew and Katerina Kotasek; brothers John (Stella) and Louis (Barbara) Kotasek and sisters in law Loretta and Anna F. Kotasek. She is survived by her brothers Peter (Ann S.); Lawrence (Lillian); Karl and Thomas Kotasek; sisters Frances (Bo) Vlasak and Marie (Roy) Nersesian. She also leaves behind many nieces; nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews. Sophie was a member of The Most Holy Rosary Church, Maine. She will be remembered as a very loving and caring person, who always put others before herself. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Willow Point Nursing Home North 2, for their excellent care
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 1 pm at Most Holy Rosary Church, Route 26 North, Maine. The family will receive relatives and friends at church Friday from 12 pm until Mass time at 1 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
