Theresa Rose, 62 of Endicott passed away peacefully on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Willow Point Nursing Center after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Theresa Rose, 62 of Endicott passed away peacefully on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Willow Point Nursing Center after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Theresa was born in NYC and predeceased by her father, Louis Celentano and an Aunt and Uncle. She is survived by her husband, Craig Rose; mother, Mary Celentano; brother, John (Connie) Celentano; sister, Fran Celentano; brother, Vito (Sally) Celentano; sister, Marie Celentano and Jr. of Stockton, CA; brother-in-law, Ronald Rose of Endicott; step-daughter, Sherry (Michael) VanOrder with grandchildren, Zachary and Makayla of Owego; step-son, Christopher (Andrea) Rose with granddaughter, Savanna and twin boys on the way in Daytona Beach, FL; an Aunt and Uncle; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Theresa also leaves behind her dog, Dee Dee who spent many an hour’s sitting with her. She is a graduate from Broome Community College and SUNY Binghamton, and last worked at HSBC Bank in Union. Theresa was active with Triple Cities Ski Club, taking pictures, crafts, line dancing and loved to hike. She leaves behind a huge network of friends that miss her dearly. A special thanks to both the Vestal Nursing and Willow Point for all their care and allowing Theresa to walk the many, many miles in the hallways. Thursday, August 30, 10:00-11:00 calling hour at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Chapel followed by service at 11a.m. Rev. Mark Giroux Rector, of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Theresa Rose with the Alzheimer local association’s local chapter: www.alz.org/centralnewyork.
