Thomas “Tucker” George

Thomas “Tucker” George, 61, of Johnson City, NY passed away at home on December 14th. He was born on February 7th, 1960 to Thomas and Florence George.
He is survived by his loving wife Patrice George; his daughters, Colleen and Hannah; his siblings Dennis (Sue) George, John (Donna) George, Cheryl (Jim) Warner, and Alonnie (James) Milligan; his in-laws Paula (John) Elly, Maureen (Steve) Reynolds, Jim (Pat) Abrams, William (Joan) Abrams, Richard Abrams, and Elizabeth (Kirk) Beltrami; and many nieces and nephews.
He retired after 26 years from UPS on December 1st, 2021. Throughout his career at UPS he served as a union steward for the Teamsters Local 317. He enjoyed golfing with his brothers and had a passion for politics which he shared with many of his nieces and nephews. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and took great pride in watching his daughters play lacrosse at the high school and collegiate levels.
There will be no service at his request. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in honor of Tucker’s memory can be made to National Public Radio.
