OD Heck Caregiver left a message on February 13, 2014:
Tommy was loved by everyone that worked with him and cared for him each and every day. He had a wonderful sense of humor and an outrageous laugh when something struck him as funny. Tommy was very strong willed and would remain steadfast with regard to expressing his wants and needs. His range of expression was one of the things that made him so special. Tommy was close to many of us and will be greatly missed by ALL of us. I believe that In heaven there is no sickness, old age, or developmental disability. Imagine Tommy enjoying that kind of peace now. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family, now and always.
Barbara Ford Koch left a message on February 13, 2014:
I remember coming to the house, playing with Boo and being with Tommy. When my family moved to Florida in January 1972, we came back that May for summer vacation. When I came to visit, Tommy stayed far away from me. Then he realized who I was and started jumping all over me very excited. That sense of true joy has stayed with me ever since. Condolences from the entire Ford family.

How fortunate Tommy was to be born into the Howe family where love and concern for each other has been your hallmark. Special thoughts and prayers to all of you but, most especially, to Mrs Howe who once again bears the burden of the death of a child. May tommy rest in peace!
Sylvia left a message on February 14, 2014:
I have always had fond memories of Tommy. He loved life and the people in it. He had pure way of showing his love. It was unadulterated. He loved intensely because that is what Tommy did. He loved life, I believe, intensely. I feel very unfortunate that I could be around Tommy for such a short time, but I am very fortunate that I had the opportunity to know him. He used to sit practically on my lap and stroke my face and look right into my eyes... that was hard for Tommy to do and I feel that he mustered up the ability to do that with only people that he knew loved him. I still feel honored to have received his love - the very special "Tommy love" that only Tommy knew how to give... Tommy will always be in my thoughts ...
