She was a caring and loving mother, devoted friend, kind and friendly soul to all who knew her. She was a member in the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge for many years and served as Regent. Viola and Richard moved to Vestal after retirement to be closer to their son’s family. They enjoyed many great European travel vacations and met some life-long friends along the way. Viola may be most known for her humorous jingle telling wit, great memory, and uncanny luck during family poker games; pulling flushes and four- of- a- kinds, from seemingly no where.
