Lisa Wrobleski Lee left a message on October 23, 2023:
I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Ellen was an incredible person. I'm not sure I can find the right words to convey my sorrow for your loss. I remember visiting your family's home, and seeing her at various events, and talking with her. She was always so warm, welcoming, gracious and kind. I could see how much she was a great strength and positive influence in the family; the glue to the family's togetherness. Her faith was also evident and she passed that on to her family and demonstrated a great love for life and people. Please accept my sincere and deepest condolences in the loss of your wife and mother. The fact that you all reside near each other is a great testament to her loving nature that kept you all grounded and together. My family and I have been friends and classmates with several of the Gance family members over the years. We have always enjoyed your company and friendship, so we want to let you know that we share your sorrow. May God bless you all and give you comfort and peace at this difficult time. - Lisa Wrobleski Lee & Family
