Karen was one of the best co-workers I’ve ever had. Kind, positive, hard-working and caring. A great example of a lovely person. My deep condolences to her family and all who loved her.

How the years seem to have gone by so quickly, Karen, from our first meeting as teenagers and quickly becoming best friends, to suddenly today when you are gone. But in-between we lived so much life together. Playing softball together, being in each other’s weddings, having children, family vacations together, holidays spent together, birthdays and even funerals. We have been there for each other for nearly 50 years, through thick and thin, and it is impossible for me to imagine my life without you in it. But, I am so thankful for Jesus, who has conquered death and sin, and promised eternal life to those who put their faith and trust in Him. Because of Jesus I know I will see you again one day. In the meantime, I find my comfort in Him. My deepest sympathies to Russ, Amanda, Joshua, Alanna and all the family. I am so sorry for your loss. Karen’s absence will leave a big hole in so many lives. I am keeping you all in my prayers. ❤️

I'm so sorry for your loss. Karen was a wonderful, kind-hearted person. She would do almost anything for you. I worked with Karen a long time ago and we went on a few company conferences together. She was the adventuress one. She would talk me into a few outings that I didn't think I would do. We had a great time together. She taught me a lot. She will be dearly missed.

So sorry to hear of Karen passing. Have so many fond memories of our school days at Maine Endwell and playing softball in the town of Maine when her Dad coached us. She was such a positive, happy, upbeat, and fun person to be around. My thoughts and prayers with all the family during this difficult time. Love and God Bless, Paula Abrams Elly
