Mary Aloi Lane, 100, of Endicott passed away peacefully with her niece, Christine by her side at Mercy House on May 3, 2024. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Claude P. Lane; parents, Anna and Frank Aloi; brother, Carmello (Ruth) Aloi; sister, Josphine (Joseph) Pisani; nephews, Jay Pisani, Tim Lusht; niece, Nancy Lane. Mary is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Lane; nieces, Christine Aloi (AJ Finklestein), Jackie (Fred) Whatman; nephews, Gregory (Judy) Aloi, Jim (Lani) Pisani, Denny Lusht, Chris (Anne) Lane; her special “Aloi Boys”, Benjamin, John, Matthew and Jacob, as well as several great-nieces and nephews. Mary was a wonderfully selfless person who would do anything for anyone and could talk for hours. She was devoted to her family and the community and was best known for her delicious apple cake. She was a life member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and the Elks Auxiliary. She will be deeply missed.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 8th at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church Wednesday from 9:30 am until Mass time at 10:30 am.
