Maureen A. Rossi-Sullivan, 56, of Endwell, passed away peacefully after a brief illness Wednesday, October 17, 2012 with her family and friends by her side. She is survived by her beloved husband of 19 years, William G. Sullivan, Endwell; one daughter, Brianna Sullivan, Endwell,; one step-daughter, Kelly Sullivan, Endicott; one step-son and daughter-in-law, William and Jessica Sullivan, Vestal; two grandchildren, Shamus and Logan Sullivan; her parents, Dominic and Josephine Rossi, Endwell; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Robin Rossi, Pawleys Island, South Carolina; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Eileen and Thomas Ivey, Endicott and Diane and John Weld, Ledgewood, New Jersey; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Maureen was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott. She was a retiree of the Union-Endicott School District, retiring after 35 years of service. She was an avid gardner, loved scrapbooking with her daughter Brianna and enjoyed her Bunco gatherings. Maureen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister and an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main St., Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday 4-7 pm. Expressions of sympathy in Maureen’s memory may be made to Lourdes Hospital Foundation, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, New York 13905.
