Phil and I worked together in card test, both joining IBM about the same timeframe in late 70s. We became close friends, often playing tennis at UE after working a long night. I was so sorry when he lost his beloved "Babs" , and am shocked at his passing...it's like losing part of my family. My condolences to his family, his faith was so strong he's in Heaven now with his Babs. God bless you Phil.

I was saddened to learn of Phil's passing. Phil worked for me in Product Quality at IBM. I will always remember his mild, cooperative, and helpful personality. He was very well liked and respected... a true pleasure in which to work. He leaves a strong legacy; and, I'm proud of him and having had the honor of working with him. My condolences to his family and friends with the blessing of many happy memories.

Very sorry to hear about Philip's passing. He was a good friend to my sister Valerie in high school and at Broome Tech. He spent many times at my parent's house during those years. My sister introduced your mother to your father in college and they married when he graduated. He was lots of fun and will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Chris, it is a privilege to be associated with your family and we have been friends for many years. We always enjoyed stopping in the halls at Lockheed and chatting with Phil as well as seeing him outside the house. He would always wave to us and, of course, we could never just drive by without stopping to say hello. We will remember his wonderful sense of humor along with his analytical thinking and meaningful conversations. May God bless all of you during this time and into the future.
