His lifelong passion was NASCAR Racing, first racing and in later years officiating. Bill was also a former member of the BPOE Elks Lodge, Vestal. He was also a veteran of the National Guard. For the past 10 years his favorite place to be was sitting on the porch at Belden Hill Camp Grounds with his best friend and the love of his life Barbara and fishing every chance he could get with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Wilson Memorial Hospital for their loving care and support to both Bill and his family.

The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Wednesday (today) from 5-8 pm. An angel taken away too soon. Bill wore a perpetual smile and was always ready to help anyone that needed it. His keen sense of humor and dry wit were a sweet part of his lovable nature. I will feel eternally grateful that I got to know Bill. I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to Barbara and family. My heart felt sympathy, Billie Jean Orshal
