Lucy Teresa Felice Gargano, 84, of Endicott, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Gargano, Sr., in 1988; brothers Romeo, Albert and Dominick Felice and a sister Lula. Fifty years ago Lucy married Bill, melding two families into one strong and loving Italian family, AnnMarie (Chris) Foley, Endicott; Bill Gargano, Jr., Louisville, KY; grandchildren Aimee (Patrick) Towne; Amanda (Richard) Foster; Ashley (Frank) Amtmann; Michael Bertrand; Joseph Breaux (Heather) Gargano and Marlena, Lianna and Nicholas Gargano; great grandchildren Cameron, Lucy and Sophia; Isabella and Giuliana; three brothers Anthony, John and Michael Felice; several sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins and dear friends; including lifelong friend Mary Calcagnini. Lucy also enjoyed an enduring and special relationship with Frannie Felice. Lucy owned and operated Gini’s Dress Shop in the Union District of Endicott and was a past president of the Endicott Girls Club. The family would like to thank Dr. John Perry for his many years of kind and compassionate care and the staff of James G. Johnston Nursing Center for all their love and support during the past year.Funeral Services will be held Friday 12 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Deacon Thomas Harley of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Friday from 10 am until service time at 12 pm.
