Arlene M. Weyer, 74, of Endwell, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph H. Weyer and her parents, Anthony and Florence Madalena. Arlene M. Weyer, 74, of Endwell, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph H. Weyer and her parents, Anthony and Florence Madalena. She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Madalena, Rochester; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and Stephen Wertz, Endwell and Kristen and Sammy Baker, Richmond, VA; two sons, Thomas Weyer, San Francisco and Stephen Weyer, Alexandria, VA; three grandchildren, Rachel Wertz and Zack and Zoe Baker. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal and a retired teacher with Seton Catholic Middle School. Arlene was a service unit manager for the Girl Scouts in the Endicott area. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 12 pm from Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 157 Clark Street, Vestal. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Monday from 4-6 P.M. Expressions of sympathy in Arlene’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Broome County Unit, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790.
