Ellie was retired from our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Mom was the greatest mom and best friend who was loving and giving and would sacrifice anything for her children, grandchildren and granddogs. Mom, you are loved very much and will be missed each and every day and will always be in our hearts forever. We know that you are pain free and will be our angel in heaven watching over us each day. Our special thanks to Dr. Jagraj Rai for the gentle and loving care given to our mother. Thanks also to the wonderful nurses, staff and volunteers from Lourdes at Home and Lourdes Hospice who helped us through the last difficult days. Ellie was known for her good work ethics, being on time, crafting, sewing and gardening. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 4 pm until service time at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Ellie’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
