Frank T. Miller, 92, of Endwell, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Sunday, November 10, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife Ellen in 2005 and a brother Alvin. Frank was a loving father and grandfather to his family, two daughters Janice (Mark) Coleman, Poughkeepsie, NY and Cindy Miller (James Moriarty), East Hampton, MA; two sons Frank D. (Janice) and Jeffrey (Cheryl) Miller, all of Endwell; his grandchildren Curt (Kelly), Christie (Paul); Julianne; Derek; Nicholas and Justin; three great grandchildren Sophia; Cassandra and Serena; a sister Nancy Checchia (Dick Berry), Sarasota, FL; sisters in law an brothers in law Phyllis Miller, Vestal; Henry (Rosemary) Harris, Endwell; Myrna (Stan) Sprague, Endicott; Myra (Gene) Thomas, Candor; Jerry (Sue) Harris, Endicott; Helenjane Harris, Endicott and Sandy (Jerry) Saccoccio, Vestal; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. He was a member of Endwell United Methodist Church, was a retired IBM Corp employee and member of its Quarter Century Club. Frank was also a veteran of W.W. II, serving in the US Army and a member of the Southern Tier Model A Club having rebuilt his Model A while in his 80’s. Frank was also a volunteer fireman and one of the founding members of the East Maine Fire Department. The family would like to thank the staff of Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Binghamton, for all their kind and compassionate care shown to Frank during his stay there.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, 11/14/2013 at 1:00 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, officiated by Rev. José Valencia. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott, following the service. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
