Joseph Anthony Lanuti, 87 of Endwell, died, Saturday, February 2, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents Luigi and Lisa Lanuti, his wife, Mary, brother, Carl, sisters and brother-in-laws, Yolanda (Joe) Salamida and Mary (Joe) Orsini. He is survived by his wife Ruth; children, James (Kathy) Lanuti, Nancy (Jim) Dunn, Tom (Maureen) Lanuti and Ann Marie (Steve Williams); step-children, Marie (Michael) Browne, Reverend Father John Donovan, Ellen Donovan and Mark (Maria Donovan). He leaves nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Also, he is survived by his sister-in-law Fran Lanuti and several nieces and nephews. Joe served 3 years in the Marines during W.W. II, in the Pacific Theater; worked 32 years for the Binghamton Press as a linotype operator; had his own tax business with nephew Frank Sladish, and was a registered agent for a number of years. Joe was a good man and lead a good life; “Atta Boy Joe.”Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Church of the Holy Family at 10 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday from 4-7 pm.
