Leonard J. Troncone, 61 of Endicott, died at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, March 12, 2013. He was predeceased by a son Joseph and his mother Grace Salerno. He is survived by his wife Maria (Olevano) Troncone, Endicott; two sons and daughters in law Micah and Pamela, Rotterdam, NY and Mark and Stacy, Endicott; his grandchildren Joseph; Evelina; Logan and Kelsey; his father Sabin, Sr., Huntsville, AL; two sisters and a brother in law Ann Marie Troncone, Decatur, AL and Isabelle and Phil Procaccino, Belleville, NJ; a brother and sister in law Sabin, Jr. and Debbie, Huntsville, AL; two sisters Christy Walker and Mary Fiore; the mother of his sons Christine Troncone; four nephews Sabin III, Matthew; JJ and Matthew; a sister in law and brother in law Pat and Jim Harmon, Endicott and a brother in law and sister in law James and Andrea Olevano, Fuquay Varina, NC and many close friends, including Steve and Ruth Bowen, deposit, NY. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, former employee of Broome-Tioga BOCES and a member of the Independent Mutual Aide Society. Leonard was also a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the US Army, was a lifetime member and past commander of the Maj. Ray H. Humphrey, DSC, VFW Post 1449, Endicott and life member of the Organization of Vietnam Veterans (OVV).Funeral Services will be held Saturday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Friday from 4-7 pm with the Independent Mutual Aide Society meeting at 6:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Maj. Ray H. Humphrey, DSC, VFW Post 1449 Building Fund, 103 Nanticoke Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
