His loving wife and best friend of 44 years, Joanne; his mother Agnes McNeal; son and daughter in-law, Keith and Christine and daughter Melisa survived him. The pride and joy of his life were his six grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Ella (#1), Abigail, Skyelyn, Rozzalyn, Hunter arid Mason. One brother and sister in-law, Robert and Tammy McNeal; Sisters and Brothers in-laws, Rose Marie and Don Ellis and Linda and Jerry Ballard; also several brothers and sisters in-laws; special cousin, Shirley Slater along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of the Vestal Elks B.P.O.E 2508 and Owego America Legion Post 401. He was a dedicated, passionate self-employed mason for over 40 years who took great pride in his work. Family enjoyed looking at the many accomplishments around the Twin Tiers of his beautiful craftsmanship. Bud enjoyed the outdoors, especially bow hunting and golf, and spending quality time with his many friends who supported him throughout his illness. Bud encountered many obstacles with his health that he bravely fought. The family would like to thank Dr. Kloss, the angels in Lourdes Infusion Unit and the Broome Oncology nurses for their love and support throughout the years. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Saturday from 11 am until 12 pm, with the Vestal Elk BPOE # 2508 conducting a Lodge of Sorrow Service 12 pm, followed by Funeral Services at 12:15 pm, with Deacon Dale Crotsley officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Apalachin EMS, Pennsylvania Avenue, Apalachin, NY, 13732.
