Philip J. Hollenbeck, Sr., 73, of Kirkwood, NY passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Frances V. Philip J. Hollenbeck, Sr., 73, of Kirkwood, NY passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Frances V. (Buckland) Hollenbeck and his six wonderful children and 14 beautiful grandchildren. Philip was born in Scranton, PA. He was predeceased by his parents Clara J. (Navone) and Herman Hollenbeck of PA and his biological father, Philip J. Moss of Elmira, NY. Philip has two loving brothers, Joseph Ronald and Karen Hollenbeck of Port Crane, NY and John Gordon and Diane Hollenbeck of Binghamton, NY. Philip is survived by his loving children Philip, Jr. and Lisa (Staccone) Hollenbeck of Green Oaks, Illinois, Bonnie and John Hutto of Columbia, SC, Patrick and Loreta (Paniccia) Hollenbeck of Endicott, NY, Patricia and Michael Sotak of Kirkwood, NY, Pamela and Gary O’Neil of Merritt Island, FL and Michele Marble of Binghamton, NY. Philip is also survived by his beautiful grandchildren Kyle, Kasandra, Mallory, Brandon, Meaghan, Eric, Jordan, Aurora, Shane, Monica, Nathan, Lauren, Mikayla and Jessica. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Fort Snelling and was a member of the Elks Lodge and Knights of Columbus. He loved classic cars, golfing, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, classic movies, billiards and telling jokes. Philip loved his family and friends, especially Larry and Jean Balmer, Bill and Kathy Zulko and Crystal and Stacey. He has touched many lives with his passion, sense of humor and unconditional love. He will be dearly missed by all but his legacy will live on! Funeral Services will be held Friday 10:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11 am. Burial will be in Vestal hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to his loving wife of 53 years would be graciously accepted c/o Frances V. Hollenbeck, P.O. Box 334, Kirkwood, NY 13795
